开始画《美丽世界的孤儿》这系列插画的时候，正是夏秋交替之时。那段时间北京的天空特别漂亮，尤其是黄昏时刻。那些形状怪异，颜色丰富的云朵总是能让我慢下来瞩目许久，我想，在云的那端应该有一个很美丽的世界吧。在憧憬这样世界的同时，我想到在现实生活中，我们常活在别人的期待中。我们被要求去衡量事物的价值，却忘记真正有价值的东西从来是无法衡量。我们行色匆匆，却忽略了本真自我，这是一件非常令人遗憾的事情。于是我决定用画面把要此刻的感受給记录下来。
这个系列插画讲述的是一个纯洁、孤独、笨手笨脚又不善于处事的女孩。在云端的小世界，细细体会与自己独处的安静时光 。也许每个人都可以拥有这样一个小世界。
It was the turn of summer and autumn that began the series of illustrations of Orphans in a Beautiful World. At that time, the sky in Beijing was very beautiful, especially at dusk. Those weird shapes and colorful clouds can always keep my eyes on for a long time. I think there should be a beautiful world at the end of the cloud. While looking forward to such a world, I remenber that in real life, we often live in the expectations of others. We are asked to measure the value of things, but we forget that what is really valuable is never measurable. It is a very regrettable thing that we are in a hurry and neglect our true selves. So I decided to use the illustration to record my feelings at the moment.
This series of illustrations is about a pure, lonely, clumsy girl who is not good at dealing with things. In that small world , she can experience the quiet time of being alone with yourself. Maybe everyone can have such a small world.
